08.02.10
Over the passed weeks we have been working with our friends at Thunder
Chunky to create The Renmen Project. A new initiative selling art and
design to raise funds for UNICEF's Haiti Earthquake
Children's Appeal. We will be running the project throughout 2010 and
are already working with great artists and designers including Tado,
Peskimo, Pete Fowler, Jeremyville and many more
to produce art prints, postcards, hand-drawn doodles and much much
more, all being sold off for the charity. The first artwork on sale is
100 drawings... by me! To get your 'love' drawing, and to find out
more, just hit the link...

Ape On The Moon 15.12.09

repeating landscapes, in a recent tutorial-style interview with the
great Alex Mathers from Ape On The Moon, we explain how it's done!

The TC Time Capsule 15.12.09
One of the neatest projects around right now is the newly launched
'Thunder Chunky Time Capsule' where a selection of illustrators and
designers
have looked back over the passed decade to pick out one of their own
pieces of work to be buried in history forever! Ben looked back to 2005
when he created this eye-popping piece for Smart Cars. Read all about
it in the capsule, and check out other great work from the likes of
Peskimo, Andy Smith, Eboy, and many many more of the great designers
who have come to light over the passed decade!

One Big Interview 15.12.09
It's not often we put our interviews on here, however we were recently
asked by Sean Hodge from the wonderful Vectortuts to do an interview,
which then became quite an epic insight into
our work and life, so we figured it was well worth a mention! Hit the
link to read away!

The Graphic Eye! 23.11.09
We may be designers, we may be illustrators, but it's very rare we can
claim that we're photographers! However 'The Graphic Eye' is a new book
published by Rotovision, and featuring photos BY designers. The book
includes three of our many many photos of shoes, we always seem to
photograph our shoes. Our feet are, after all, our main mode of
transport for adventures and seeking inspiration!

The Great Outdoors! 23.11.09
We previewed the early versions of these illustrations in our 'Play'
section a while back. We're now happy to show that they developed into
a rather lovely art print now available from Ape On The Moon entitled
'Learning From The Great Ourdoors'!

Frivolous 50s! 09.11.09
For some years now we have been blessed enough to be able to work
(often secretly) under two guises! Outside of the colourful landscapes
and kooky animals you'll know from Ben's illustration folio, we have
also worked under the name 'Twisted Fifties' on editorial, advertising
and art print collections. However the time is upon us to come clean to
our underground activity! To launch this new era of illustration
honesty, we have just added a new range of prints to our WYWH shop,
entitled 'Frivolous Fifties'. Hit the link below to enjoy our
tongue-in-cheek approach to 1950's advertising.

Action Day 15.10.09
Today (Thursday 15 Oct) is Blog Action Day! It is a day when the
world's blogging community comes together to discuss an issue, to raise
awareness and to create some
togetherness. This year the issue is 'Climate Change' and as part of
Blog Action Day we worked with Vectortuts+ to create a very special
environmentally themed
desktop wallpaper, now available from their site.

It's very rare that we have a reason to put anything personal on the
site, however for this news item we're making an exception! Back on the
8th January, I was blessed by the arrival of our beautiful baby boy,
Elwood. Fi and 'Woody' are both doing well, and although I am now back
in the studio making pictures and playing with colour, Fi is taking
some well-deserved time out
of business to concentrate on the best thing we have ever designed!
Thanks to everyone who has sent their cards and congratulations our way
over the passed weeks, thank you all.
